Meeting Minutes 

 

A meeting of the North East Mass Area Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous was held on Sunday,  May 21st, 2023, via ZOOM ID 818-1877-9705 Password: NEMAASC @ 3:00 pm with a moment of silence, followed by the “we” version of the Serenity Prayer.  We read the tradition & concept of the month, followed by the Roll Call of the Administrative Committee and GSRs in attendance.

• NEMA F&E and Programming Convention Committee present "Dinosaur Day Speaker Jam" Saturday, May 27, at 26 Washington Street in Malden. Speaker jam 12-9 pm. There is a suggested donation of $10, but no addict will be turned away. Please reach out to Ricky L for more info. Flier is attached

• Pre-registrations for the March 2024 NEMA convention are out, and I have attached a copy. Please announce this in your home groups!

• "Rock the Boat" will be held June 10 at Cape Ann Whale Watch in Gloucester! Tickets are $30. Please see a convention committee member for tickets or more info!

 

GROUP ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

1. “Cope Without Dope,” which meets Sunday nights in Lynn at 7pm, will be moving to 110 Blossom Street (YMCA youth center) Starting in June.

2. “Saturday Morning Live,” which meets every Saturday at 11:00am, has MOVED to 787 Salem St in Malden (Club 24).

3. New meeting: “Spiritual Awakenings Men’s Group” 54 Essex Street Saugus. Sundays 9-10:15 am

4. “Solo Por Hoy” needs support Wednesdays from 7:30-8:45, 110 Blossom Street Lynn.

5. “Serenity in Saugus,” which meets at 300 Central Street at 7:00pm on Mondays, needs support.
